“To travel is to realize that everyone is wrong about other countries”
— Aldous Huxley
Who are we?
Well… That’s a hard thing to answer but I’ll give it a go!
I’ve always considered myself a clean cut hippie. I’m most at home in nature and take recycling pretty seriously, but I also love using deodorant and usually try to keep tie-dye shirts out of my daily rotation :)
Michelle and I met in high school and got married half way through college. We both recognized that helping others was at the core of our personalities and were adamant that we pursue careers with service at its core. Michelle went on to nursing school and I was an EMT with the Fire Department all throughout business school.
However, photography continued to call to us, and tempt us with traveling to far off lands. Every country we visited reaffirmed how small our window through which we view the world was. We firmly believe travel can be one of the most valuable investments you can make. Traveling keeps you off balance, sleep deprived, curious, it forces you to trust strangers- in short, Traveling is uncomfortable. And that’s how it makes us grow.
This is what I want to share with people- the reality that the whole world is waiting for you to buy a ticket and to dive in with reckless abandon.
We’ve put off “adult-ing” for as long as possible, but since we can see it on the horizon; the next few months are gonna be jammed packed with as many adventures as possible. We’d love for you to follow along and share in the journey!
Our other favorite thing to photograph is weddings…
